Iron Vizzy Spotlight: Esther’s Handmade Jewelry Business Dashboard.

Turning Creative Work into a Business Tool.

Running a small creative business often means juggling product ideas, customer messages, and handwritten notes. For Esther, this became the spark behind her Iron Vizzy dashboard. Her entry transforms the day to day workflow of her handmade jewelry brand, CEO Beads, into a clear and structured space for managing products, monitoring performance, and keeping customer orders under control.

The central idea behind Esther’s dashboard is simple. She wanted a single place that supports the operations of her jewelry business. The dashboard brings together product management, order tracking, sales insights, and stock information in a way that feels intuitive and visual. Instead of running her business across scattered messages, she now has one reliable hub built for clarity and growth.

What Motivated the Build.

As CEO Beads started to gain traction, keeping track of incoming orders became a challenge. Messages arrived through different platforms and the manual workflow no longer kept pace. Esther wanted a structured system that reflects both her creativity and her need for organization. This mix of practical needs and her love for visual design shaped the direction of the dashboard.

From Idea to Structured Design.

Esther’s design process started with identifying the essentials: insight into products and visibility into customer orders. From there, she shaped a three part layout: a product gallery, an order tracking area, KPI cards for quick business health checks.

Interactive filters, branded touches, and a clean visual hierarchy guided her decisions. As she used the dashboard, she continued refining it, removing anything that added noise and enhancing the parts that supported her workflow.

How the Dashboard Evolved.

The first version of the dashboard was modest, focused on a simple product and customer list. As the project progressed, she introduced filters, charts, and business metrics including total revenue and repeat customers.

The biggest turning point came when WriteBackExtreme was added. With it, the dashboard moved from static insights to a fully interactive operational tool. By the end, the build supported real time updates to orders, production status, and stock records.

Extensions That Shape the Experience.

Two extensions supported the structure of the dashboard. SuperTables powers the product and order overview with sorting, searching, and flexible filtering. WriteBackExtreme provides the ability to enter and update data directly in the dashboard. Esther created three forms:

  • One for creating new orders
  • One for recording production tasks
  • One for keeping stock records up to date

Buttons and containers were arranged to make the flow smooth for day to day use.

Why These Visuals Work.

Each chart in the dashboard serves a clear purpose. A sales by platform view highlights where customers come from, such as Instagram or WhatsApp. A Top 5 Products chart helps her spot what is resonating most with customers. KPI cards summarise core measures including total orders, revenue, and net earnings, giving her the context needed for quick decisions.

Skills Gained Along the Way.

While working on her entry, Esther saw how much impact a purpose driven dashboard can have. Balancing design and function taught her to prioritize clarity while still expressing her brand. She strengthened her skills in extensions, dashboard actions, and custom calculations that reflect the realities of running a small business.

A Creative Highlight.

One of her favorite parts of the process was bringing the CEO Beads brand into the dashboard. Product images, a personal logo, and an interactive QR code created a space that visually matches her handmade creations. It became more than a data tool and turned into an extension of her creative identity.

A Tool Built to Grow.

For Esther, the dashboard is not just an Iron Vizzy entry. It is something she plans to use as her business expands. It saves time, keeps her organized, and supports confident decision making. Future ideas include adding restock alerts and deeper customer insights, showing that the dashboard will continue evolving with CEO Beads.
